Well, guess why I was postponing this for so long, because there are way
too many combinations, then there's too many ways each variant can go
wrong, one has to document and test everything REAL GOOd and even then
it likely doesn't contain all variants people may want.
It limits the support for CMake 3.12+, but it's much less verbose and I
don't expect people to use ancient CMake versions with IDEs like Xcode
or VS anyway, so this should be fine.
This turned the primitive from being fully defined at compile time to
being mostly dynamically allocated. Keeping just the positions+normals
case defined at compile time, and splitting the function into two
overloads so the extra code can be DCEd when people call the function
with no flags.
Making room for GenerateTangents in 3D, and keeping the 2D ones
consistent with 3D. Also renamed GenerateTextureCoords to
GenerateTextureCoordinates in the remaining places to be consistent with
naming in the rest of the APIs.
All functionality is now available through free functions. The classes
are now just deprecated wrappers and/or typedefs and will be removed in
some future release.
Also added a bunch of comments to prevent confusing myself again next
time and spaced the indices evenly to make them readable. All those
poorly done things contributed to the bug.
The only places where they aren't absolute are:
- when header is included from corresponding source file
- when including headers which are not part of final installation (e.g.
test-specific configuration, headers from Implementation/)
Everything what was in src/ is now in src/Corrade, everything from
src/Plugins is now in src/MagnumPlugins, everything from external/ is in
src/MagnumExternal. Added new CMakeLists.txt file and updated the other
ones for the moves, no other change was made. If MAGNUM_BUILD_DEPRECATED
is set, everything compiles and installs like previously except for the
plugins, which are now in MagnumPlugins and not in Magnum/Plugins.
